Watacamp's origins...

The word WATA means canoe in Lakota language. That's why our camp of Teepees located along the river Sèvre Nantaise is named Watacamp. Thus, you'll remain in the "camp of canoe". If this name refers to an activity that you can practice here (canoeing !), it is an homage to a thousand-year-old habitat too. Teepee find here its noblest letters. In harmony with actual and future environmental stakes, Teepees are ecological habitats with a weak environmental impact.
